Blog: Teri Anderson
Hi!
I’m Teri! I’m a lover of all things paper crafting- related. If you can
make something with it, it’s all good in my world. I have been playing with
paper since I was a kid. But it was when I moved away to a small town
where I knew no one that I really got hooked on it. The rest of the story, you
might say, is history. Besides making stuff, I like going to concerts, taking
pictures and spending time with my family and friends. I also love to spoil my
two fluffy pooches Marley and Razzy. I’m a Go-to-Gal for Paper Crafts magazine.
Besides Paper Smooches, I also contribute to design teams for some other
manufacturers. I also have what has become a small hobby of a being an extra. I've been an extra in three movies.
Blog: Laurie Schmidlin
Hi,
my name is Laurie Schmidlin. I live in Southwest Montana on a cattle ranch with
my husband and four children. When I'm not homeschooling our kids or helping my
husband out on the ranch, you will most likely find me locked away in my stamp
room! Since discovering stamping 14 years ago, I not only have found a passion
for paper crafts but have developed many close friendships along the way!
I love to stamp, but even more I love sharing my creations with others!
Nothing says I care like handmade card!
Blog: Kalyn Kepner
Hi,
I’m Kalyn! I live in a small town in Pennsylvania working as a marketing
specialist. When I’m not at work or spending time with my friends, you can find
me sitting at my craft desk making cards. Nothing makes me happier than
creating - whether it’s a card, scrapbook page or DIY project. Over the last 4
years of my paper-crafting journey, stamping has become a huge love of mine and
I am so honored to be a part of the Paper Smooches team!
Blog: Emily Leiphart
Hi,
I'm Emily! I live in Toronto, Canada, with my husband and our very energetic
three-year-old son. Before our son was born, I worked as a research
analyst for several large firms and also as a freelance makeup
artist. I love traveling to see beauty everywhere in the world. One
of my favourite places to visit is Italy after my husband worked there for
a year. We have been studying Italian for years with the hope of retiring
there someday. Not only am I a published paper crafter, I am also a published
make-up artist so a lot of my paper crafting inspiration comes from fashion and
editorials. I’ve designed for several stamp manufacturers in the industry
and I am super excited to be joining the Paper Smooches design team!
Blog: Laura Bassen
I’m a wife and mother to five busy kids living in central
Illinois. I love to escape from my sink full of dirty dishes to my crafty
corner. Years ago, I studied graphic design, but now card making has become my
passion. I'm so excited to be joining the Paper Smooches team!
Blog: Ashley Marcu
My name is Ashley and I live in a suburb of Seattle
Washington with my husband and three young energetic
kids. I've been crafting since I was a little girl and was thrilled
to stumble in to card making after the birth of my first child in 2007. I
would define my style somewhere between cute and trendy. I love to keep
things simple but I also love layers. I have been published multiple
times in Paper Crafts magazine and was crowned Stamping Royalty in
2012. When I'm not creating or running around trying to be super
Mom you can find me outside gardening or watching soccer and
football.
Blog: JJ Bolton
Hi, I'm JJ Bolton!
I'm originally from Hawaii but now live in northern Virginia with my
husband and twin sons! I got into paper crafting by accident in 2010 when
my husband bought me a Silhouette as a gift. I started off making party
favors but quickly discovered the world of card making! Since then, it's
become an addiction. I still love my Silhouette, but I'm also a big fan
of manual dies. My projects tend to be on the CAS side and I love bright
colors! I've been lucky to have been published in Paper Crafts magazine
and have been a part of some really fun design teams. I'm super excited
to be a part of the amazing Paper Smooches team!!

I am so excited to be joining the Paper Smooches team!

Blog: Jocelyn Olson
I live in South Dakota with my husband and our two kids. My sweet and creative daughter (Leni) is eight, and my hot-rodding, funny son (Levi) is four. I was a professor for over 10 years, but since my son was born, I’ve worked as a consultant for states on Federal education and special education programs. I got into papercrafting when I was 9 months pregnant with my daughter was born, and I thought it would be a good idea to make 75 handmade birth announcements. J Even though I was tying ribbons on announcements at 2am with a newborn on my lap, I really loved working with papers and stamps. I am primarily a card maker, although I love to make all kinds of projects, both traditional and hybrid. Currently, I am on the Glitz Digital and the Scraptastic Club Design Teams, and I’ve been fortunate enough to be published in Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine and CARDS Magazine. I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Paper Smooches team--I’ve been a fan since the first release!
Blog: Kay Miller
Hi, I’m Kay Miller. I live in Southern Missouri with my husband and two great kids. I first discovered stamping about 20 years ago when I wandered into a small stamping store in Anacortez, WA, while visiting my grandfather. I spent all of my traveling money, and got in trouble for staying too long in the store, but by then, it was too late, I had fallen head over hills. I spent many years in the digital scrapbooking industry creating digital page kits for my own personal website and for the paper industry. and participating on several creative teams for other designers. After completely burning out trying to come up with new designs, I quit, and rediscovered my love for stamping and card making, and started blogging. Along with card making, I also enjoy photography and creating whimsical Christmas ornaments with polymer clay. I am beyond thrilled to be on the creative team for one of my all time favorite stamp companies, Paper Smooches!
